- July 2009 - Good News!! We have finally moved into the "New Mortimer Community Centre" which has recently been built on the Mortimer Village Green. Due to the untimely fire at the Garth Club, we have been unable to use the funds raised during our "12 Hour Dance-a-thon" for the new dance floor until now. While the new community centre was being built, we managed to negiotate with the committee that our hard earned "dance floor fund" money could be put towards a proper dance floor at the community centre instead of the Garth Club. There is still a little bit of money left in the "Dance-a-thon fund" which will be put towards new ballet barres and mirrors in the centre. We currently use the centre 6 days a week, so our new floor is getting plenty of use! The centre will also be used for our exam sessions in the future.
- July 2009 - Well done to everyone involved in "The 12 Dancing Princesses" show at the Arlington Arts Centre in July. Thank you. We have had some wonderful feedback from helpers and parents and many requests to be involved again!
