CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT THATCHAM PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL FROM 17TH JUNE 2010 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Welcome to Daphne Bennett School of Dancing.  Since the school was established over 40 years ago, the Daphne Bennett School of Dancing has provided expert theatre and dance tuition in branches across Berkshire and Hampshire.  During this time we have seen many students gain professional work both here in England and abroad.

We offer classes in the following branches:

Burghfield Common,
Lower Earley,
Mortimer,
Silchester,
Tadley,
Thatcham
and Tilehurst.

The emphasis is on our teaching and we strive to provide a fun, interesting atmosphere in which the students can learn and progress to their maximum potential.  We start classes from age 2.5yrs in our Nursery class.  This class is based on ballet but also focuses on their imagination, mime, rhythm, coordination and musicality.

From age 5 yrs onwards we provide classes in:
Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street Jazz, Gymnastic dance and Body conditioning/Limbering.

For our older students we can provide a comphrehensive dance programme including several classes in a vocational ballet syllabus, non syllabus ballet classes, pointe work, body conditioning and limbering and competitions.

NEW - 1ST WEDDING DANCE

Whether you want a simple, sophisicated first dance with the love of your life, a more funky dance to wow your wedding guest or maybe a dance which all the Wedding party could join in with - the choice is yours! All dances are personally choreographed to suit you and your partner dependent on your style of music - no previous dance experience is necessary.

We also have the option of creating a dance for your Hen or Stag Party which you could perform at your wedding. In conjuction with your choreographer you would learn a fantastic, fun routine to the song of your choice.
